National Archives is a website with historical images, documents, illustrations, etc. that students can use as primary sources to support claims and arguments in research papers. National Archives has primary source documents of America's founding documents and federal government primary source documents such as documents that pertain to the Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, Judicial Branch and information about elections and federal employees.

Read Like a Historian is a website within Stanford.edu which explains how to evaluate and judge a source. Sourcing, contextualization, corroboration and close reading are key components when evaluating and judging a text or document to know if the source is credible. Students will analyze pictures from the Civil War that were taken from 1861-1865 and create their own opinions on how the Civil War could have been a catalyst to American industrial development.
Students examine paper money from the time of the American Revolution. Students will use the issue dates on the bills of the money to construct a chronology of political changes during the Revolution.
